Like damn... listening to Under Pressure hits a little too different now. Watched this in a state that I wasn't quite prepared for as well. 5 big booms!
Trying to expand the list of films I've watched. And oh boy, if there's one thing the watchlist is ever expanding. Although now, I'm trying to make an effort and just watch more.
Tickets are expensive and I know going to the theatres isn't really the most convenient ways of watching stuff now, but y'know it's a different experience when you watch in person specially when you have friends along. Pretty much most of the films I've watched came from the internet... just some high sailing. Or like just Youtube, there's a real lot of those archived films specially.

You'll end up noticing that there'll be a lot of sci-fi entries here, guys. I'm just a sucker for those. Specifically these kinds of films. There's something about this movie and its predecessor that draws me in. Probably the art direction of both. But there's something personal as well, something that just makes me think. It's probably a scope for a future, a kind of future we can find ourselves in. Probably the kind where we question our own humanity. Anyways, this gets 5 big booms!
The plot for this movie is pretty standard, typical crime or gangster type. Although the thing that draws me in to this movie is the setting and its character. Set in a period of Russia that is quite uncertain, that of the post-collapse USSR. It's so shitty and gritty, it's melancholic. There's also our character, someone who is really into Nautilus Pompilus. This gets 5 big booms!
Just an entertaining and silly movie to watch. It's just really bloody, literally, fun. Abosolutely love Tangerine and Lemon. Like man, Aaron Taylor-Johnson is so damn fine. This gets 5 big booms!
Wong Kar-Wai ?!?!?! Honestly this is just a movie for the vibes. Tony Leung though... 4 big booms!
This is a really personal movie to me. Because of its connection to a friend of mine. Like this was their first recommendation to me for a movie. I look back at that and look at where we are now. How time flies! For the movie itself, beautiful. A movie of admiration and understanding. 5 big booms!
Interesting but the guy that played Gaz from Modern Warfare (2019) starred in this movie. But yeah, Nic Cage should do more movies like this. 4 big booms!
This is more epic! Stilgar what a hypeman you are. The baron is dead. Billions must "Lisan Al-Gaib!". 5 big booms!
Well another thing that you'd notice is... Ryan gosling.
This movie is a vibe though.
Awesome action and awesome soundtrack as well.
If I only knew how to drive...
"What do you do?"
"I commute."
5 big booms!
The part when Ginger... snaps! Really awesome coming of age werwolf movie. Adored the dynamic between the two sisters, and also their relationship with their mom was goated. She was a real one!!! 5 big booms!
Amazing movie! Actually makes Godzilla look like a real force of nature. A menace! On top of that the dynamics between our characters and all their personal stories. From guilt to redemption. 5 big booms!
Another great recommendation from a dear friend of mine. One of the scenes I best remember from this film was near the end part. When a choir was playing in church and Lazarro's reaction to it. I know there's a lot of themes this film tackles but the more religious undertone stuck to me. Seeing Lazarro just makes you wish that the world were as bright as him. As i wish for better days, I also wish for better people. Then I realize it starts with me. I then wish to be as bright, as warm, as tender, as kind as you, Lazarro! 5 big booms!
Naval adventure movie set in the Napoleonic wars. It tells the cat and mouse chase of a British naval ship and a French naval ship. The historical stuff in it is awesome! This is a certified bro movie, a movie you'd watch with your dad or if you're a dad yourself. 5 big booms!
This is a super fun zombie movie. At the same time not really a zombie movie? Because at first you'll go from "oh my!" to "ooh" and then to "OOOOH". Yeah it makes more sense when you watch it, LIKE YOU SHOULD REALLY WATCH IT IT'S FUN. Although I guess if there's one thing you really have to be patient with all the three parts. But the way the movie flows and how everything connects is awesome. 5 big booms!
The Predator but in a setting with indigenous Americans. This really goes hard. Like the whole action scenes are a beauty. The Predator in this movie is visually awesome. And so is the heroine! 5 big booms!
This is some arthouse shit made by the guy who made EVANGELION! Shinji crank them soulja boy. 5 big booms!
Senegalese neo-western action thriller about revenge. It's a visually stylish film from the setting and itc characters. The folk elements are really interesting to see specially in the later part of the movie. I would also like to think its implications on the brutal effects of colonialism even from its aftermath. Presented by our main characters struggle as he sets out for revenge. The revenge part isn't evident at first but it would make it self clear in a payoff to the build up of suspense. 5 big booms!
I initially watched this because I was getting into the game series with the same name. The concept of an anomalous zone where one can be find themselves in is appealing, made even more so by an artifact called the wish granter, which from the name itself grants any wish desired by a person. I was literally making that soyjack face because I was referencing it to my game. Geez guys who knew the references from there came from here! Kidding aside the movie is stunningly shot, with an atmosphere that I absolutely adore. 5 big booms!
Recommended again by the same friend of mine. If you notice they have really awesome and good taste in films. A film that explores two ideas in the way of living, presented by two scientist with opposing lifestyles. The dialogue is something to wonder, the interactions something to admire and the experience something to breathe in. I wish to watch this movie again. Probably when I'm a little bit older. I know I could watch it now, but I'll age it like wine.
This adaptation is actually enjoyable and awesome! Although they changed the orginal lore stuff the story is still interesting. Walton Goggins as the Ghoul is badass! 5 big booms!
You can't make a Tomlette without cracking a few Greggs! This is a sitcom by the way. 5 big booms!
Sci-fi space opera that I really like. The world building is really well though out, grounded and immersive. The characters are diverse, unique and really well written (Wes Chatham as Amos is awesome!). Interesting and engaging plot. I'm a sucker for spaceships in sci-fi and the ship designs and action in this tickles my brain. 5 big booms!
Whatever really comes to mind at the moment. Down to pretty much anything, but of course there's some favorites or preffered tastes. Romanticizing some moments with music... sometimes.

Type: Album
Artist/Band: Bruno Mars
I really like Bruno Mars' old songs, specially with this one. Waiting to fall in love again so I can play 'Just the Way You Are' and 'Marry You' with a purpose.
